Christmas Party of The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation

On Saturday, Dec. 17, The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation staged again its elegant and festive Christmas Party which has become a popular staple in the holiday season of the international community. It is a classy amalgam of culture, culinary delights and international encounters and exchange.
 
The theme was
Merry Making with Mozart

It started with “Die kleine Nachtmusik” fabulously performed by the accomplished string quartet

Participants came from a dozen foreign countries

Klaus Becker moderated the program, filled with little anecdotes and announcements of the musical piano pieces like “Ah vous dirai-je, Maman”, a cascade of variations, masterfully played by concert pianist Zaïba Sheik, and “Rondo alla Turca” which underwent a fabulous metamorphosis from the classical to the jazz version.

The Christmas Party found its peak in the twin highlight of a four-course dinner
