TEASE - Transatlantic Exhibition of Art in the SouthEast is a biennial Art Project organized by The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation, founded in 2014 by Klaus Becker, Honorary Consul of Germany in Charlotte (ret.).
In recognition of the significant and long-standing German-American bilateral relationship in North Carolina, The N.C. Zeitgeist Foundation works to inform and foster dialogue about Germany’s current and historic influence of industry, culture and arts in the region. Zeitgeist means "spirit of time", and in carrying out its mission, the Foundation seeks to strengthen relationships between Germany and North Carolina.
Since 2014 TEASE is one of the highlights of the Foundation’s program. Every event has drawn a large diverse audience and sparked new friendships across the Atlantic.
